Taasisi ya Sayansi Jamii (TASAJA) also referred to as Tanzania Association of Sociologists was established in November, 2013

under the Societies Act (2002) and given a registration no S.A. 19074. It is a member of International Sociological Associations

having been admitted in March, 2014. Membership to the association is open to all graduates of Sociology; learning institutions

which offers sociology degrees; individuals and collective individuals who subscribe to its course, vision and mission.
